Erin Squarey graduated with her Masters of Science in Audiology from Dalhousie University in 2002 and completed her Doctoral degree in Audiology from Salus University in June 2008. Erin is a CASLPA (Canadian Association of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists) certified audiologist and is a member of CASLPA, SHANS (Speech and hearing Association of Nova Scotia) and Sounds+. Erin brings with her a wealth of experience -she has worked in a hospital, in a private practice and finally for a major international hearing aid manufacturer. She has experience testing, diagnosing, fitting, fine-tuning and rehabilitating people of all ages and with hearing loss of all degrees. She has attended and presented at numerous international conferences and has gained extensive training in hearing aids which allows her to be seen as a hearing aid specialist by her peers. Erin, a native of Corner Brook, was honoured when Dr. Parrott asked if she would consider moving back to Newfoundland to take care of her patients. Kim McCarthy graduated with her Masters of Science in Audiology from Dalhousie University in 1997 and completed her Doctoral degree in Audiology from Salus University in October 2008. Kim is a CASLPA (Canadian Association of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists) certified audiologist and is a member of CASLPA, SHANS (Speech and hearing Association of Nova Scotia) and Sounds+. Kim comes from a diverse clinical background. Her years of experience working in a hospital setting, in a private practice and for two major international hearing aid manufacturers has resulted in a superior level of knowledge on an number of topics, particularly amplification. Most recently, Kim was the Senior Trainer for a Danish hearing aid company and as such was responsible for travelling to Scandinavia to learn about new and exciting hearing instruments yet to be released to the market. She also provided product training to the Canadian division as well as audiologists throughout Canada. Kim recently moved to Cow Bay with her husband and 2 children, and is excited at the prospect of being home with her family on a consistent basis after spending years traveling from coast to coast. "Although being at the forefront of new technology is exciting, you miss out on the direct patient contact. I am so enjoying learning about my patients' lives, their needs, and helping them not only hear better but live better."
Jenna Waterhouse graduated from Dalhousie University with her Master's of Science in Audiology and prior to that received a bachelor's degree with honours in Biochemistry Nutrition from Memorial University. Jenna is a CASLPA audiologist certified and a member of CASLPA, SHANS and Sounds+.
Jenna's interests lie in promoting hearing health care and using the most up-to-date techniques to assess and treat the auditory system. Jenna is very compassionate and dedicated to giving superior care that is individualized for each patient based on their communication and lifestyle needs. Jenna was born and raised in Wellington N.S., and currently resides in Dartmouth with her fiancée and puppy. "I love that I am able to provide care to individuals in their home community. It is very important to have a clinic that is available to them on a full-time basis for when unexpected assistance is required".
