Erin Squarey
Audiologist

Erin Squarey graduated with her Masters of Science in Audiology from Dalhousie University in 2002 and completed her Doctoral degree in Audiology from Salus University in June 2008. Erin is a CASLPA (Canadian Association of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists) certified audiologist and is a member of CASLPA, SHANS (Speech and hearing Association of Nova Scotia) and Sounds+. Erin brings with her a wealth of experience -she has worked in a hospital, in a private practice and finally for a major international hearing aid manufacturer. She has experience testing, diagnosing, fitting, fine-tuning and rehabilitating people of all ages and with hearing loss of all degrees. She has attended and presented at numerous international conferences and has gained extensive training in hearing aids which allows her to be seen as a hearing aid specialist by her peers. Erin, a native of Corner Brook, was honoured when Dr. Parrott asked if she would consider moving back to Newfoundland to take care of her patients. "Despite all my great experiences as an Audiologist, joining the staff at Parrott's Hearing Clinic has been the most rewarding and exciting."



Anne Marie Murphy
Office Manager

Anne Marie is a long-standing employee with Parrott's Hearing Clinic. She started with the company in 1996 in shipping and receiving. In 2001 became the receptionist and the familiar face that everyone sees when they come through the doors. In January of 2011 she was promoted to Office Manager. While she still spends most of her time, greeting the patients and taking care of their needs, appointment etc, she also takes care of things like advertising, scheduling holidays, book keeping etc.

Anne Marie is very caring and compassionate with the patients who have come to think of her like family. They often joke with her, that she has become part of the furniture! If she is off for a day, on vacation, or away from her desk, the patients always inquire where she is! They have formed a wonderful bond with Anne Marie, and place much trust in her.

In her spare time she enjoys outdoor activities such as boating and hiking, she is also an avid reader. She grew up in St. John's and today resides in Tors Cove with her husband and daughter.



Krista Hearn
Hearing Instrumentation Practitioner (In training)

Krista came to work with the company in January, 1998. At that time, she was hired as an Audiology Technician, and completed courses in, Anatomy and Physiology of the Ear, Physics, Audiometry, Hearing Disorders, and Diseases of the Ear, Infectious Disease Control and Introduction to Hearing Instrumentation.

In February 2011, Krista was accepted by the Newfoundland Hearing Aid Practitioners Board, and granted a student in training License. She successfully completed her program with the International Institute of Hearing Health Science. She will receive her Practitioners License in 2013, and is excited about this next phase in her career, and thrilled for the opportunity!

Krista has an excellent rapport with the patients and they have come to know her very well. She is very kind, friendly and compassionate, not only with the clients hearing health, but the person as an individual.

She grew up in Colinet, St. Mary's Bay, but today, calls Paradise home, where she resides with her husband and daughter.



Sirley Quinones
Shipping and Receiving

Sirley came to work with Parrott's Hearing Clinic in 2009. Along with Shipping and Receiving, Sirley does a lot of behind the scenes work, like making sure all the patients receive their birthday cards on time, and making sure all the work stations are fully stocked with supplies etc.

Sirley has a wonderful bright personality, and is a pleasure to work with. In her spare time, she loves to bake, cook, participate in outside activities and volunteer her time with different organizations.

Sirley was born and raised in Columbia. She moved to Newfoundland in 2005, and is proud to have received her Canadian Citizenship in 2010. Congratulations Sirley!

Today, she calls St. John's home, where she resides with her husband and two beautiful children.



Angela Rowe
Audiology Technician

Angela first began working with Parrott's Hearing Clinic in 1996 and left to continue her education in 1999. She returned to Parrott's Hearing in March of 2010. She brings with her many years of experience in the Hearing Health Care field. As an Audiology Technician, she has completed courses in Physiology of the ear, Hearing disorders and diseases of the ear, physics, Introduction in Hearing Instrumentation, Anatomy of the ear and Infectious Disease Control. She has also completed two programs with the International Institute for Hearing Health Sciences for Newfoundland and Nova Scotia.

Angela has a great sense of humour and an abundance of positive energy that the patients as well as the staff have come to love. In her spare time she enjoys playing the piano, cooking and baking as well as spending as much of her free time with her family. Angela grew up in St. John's but now resides in the C.B.S. area.
